Converge Robotics is a technology company focused on embodied-intelligence imaging robots, founded in March 2025. Guided by our core philosophy — "the endgame of imaging is the photography robot" — we have independently developed RECOMO, a full-field-of-view, all-scenario AI photography robot. The product integrates "eyes (360° perception), limbs (an all-terrain mobile chassis), and a brain (a physical-AI imaging brain)," delivering professional creators and everyday users an intelligent shooting solution that is tireless, needs no direction, and is always present.
Team strengths: Our core founding team members all hail from renowned institutions at home and abroad — including Tsinghua University, the University of Cambridge, Purdue University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tongji University — with deep academic backgrounds in intelligent driving, robotics, artificial intelligence, and systems engineering. The team has long been deeply engaged in the intelligent driving industry and has led the mass-production rollout of multiple L2–L4 autonomous driving projects, covering the entire technology stack — perception algorithms, decision planning, and control execution — with complete experience from R&D through scaled production.
